R5 Outcomes Establishes A Product Care Team
At the invitation of CKIC, director Maurice Wicks, Technical engineer Uurtsaikh Dagvatseren and Bilguun Wicks visited their offices and manufacturing facilities in Changsha, Hunan Province, to learn more about their operations, product range, production processes, and future direction. The company’s history, current strategy, and the team’s ambition to remain a leader in their field left a strong impression.
CKIC is a global leader in laboratory automation and analytical instrumentation, recognised for its advanced solutions in coal, minerals, biomass, and food analysis.
It was remarkable to see how CKIC has grown—from a small manufacturer of laboratory measurement instruments to a recognised developer of complex automated robotic systems. Their progress clearly reflects years of perseverance, discipline, and continuous innovation. Despite this success, the team remains humble, professional, and exceptionally welcoming, demonstrating a strong culture of unity and integrity in business relationships.
Over the past 30 years, CKIC has developed dozens of instruments, among which several stood out: calorimeters, fully automated coal robotic laboratories, sample preparation equipment, XRF fusion furnaces, acid digestion systems, and a range of environmental and food laboratory instruments. Each product reflects the team’s technical creativity and intellectual property—designed to be efficient, user‑friendly, highly productive, and fully compliant with safety standards.Without a Product Care Team, we could not distribute technical scientific instruments. In March we established our Product Care Team, which is a blend of experience and youth. They are committed to providing on-going support to your team. We have three Engineers based on the East Coast and a cooperation agreement on the West Coast. We also have a Chemical engineer available. Our Team comprises of:
Andre Peters – Based in Brisbane and Factory Trained at CKIC. Also experienced XRF maintenance.
Bilguun Wicks – Based on the Central Coast of NSW, Bilguun has been trained at CKIC, and is being mentored by CKIC and Davis. He is a mechatronics specialist.
Davis Harara – Based in Newcastle, he is highly experienced with Leco and CKIC equipment and anything electronic. He has a workshop in Newcastle and understand the requirements of industrial mission critical laboratories
Uuree Dagvatseren – Based on the NSW Central Coast, Uuree is a Chemical Engineer with many years’ experience managing mining laboratories. She is highly experienced in designing equipment, laboratories and undertaking analytical experiments.
We are also focusing on developing our local supply of mission critical spare parts and consumable items.
