Application
The 5E Series C/H/N Elemental Analyzer is a cutting-edge instrument used to determine the carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen/protein content in various solid and liquid materials. It is ideal for analyzing coal, coke, oil, petroleum, biomass, fertilizer, plastic, food, hydrocarbons, plant tissue, leaves, and tobacco. This analyzer is extensively used in power plants, coal mines, metallurgy, the chemical industry, commercial inspection, scientific research, the food industry, and education.
How It Works
- Encapsulated sample is purged and introduced into the high-temperature furnace.
- Combustion occurs in high-pressure oxygen, breaking down all organic material.
- Combustion gases pass through filters and mixing chambers before detection.
- IR detectors measure C & H, while a TCD sensor quantifies N.
- Residual gases are removed, leaving purified N₂ for final detection.
